What a morning it’s been for the girls from Switzerland at the A1 Major Klagenfurt!

It has been a perfect day so far for the Swiss with all three of their teams as they ALL won to advance to the quarterfinals.

Never has Switzerland achieved a clean sweep in FIVB World Tour history but the dream is well and truly alive!

Copacabana-bound Ferrer/Verge-Dépré and Zumkehr/Heidrich might have disappointed at the Gstaad Major but they are on fire here on the banks of the Wörthersee. Joining the party is Hüberli/Betschart – the young girls who have impressed in the last two Swatch Major Series stops.

However, they face competition from two German teams also heading to South America next week, Ludwig/Walkenhorst and Borger/Büthe.

Seven of the eight teams left are all jumping on a plane next week to prepare for the biggest moments of their careers – but who will advance to tomorrow’s semifinals?

The all-important matches get under way at 2pm on Center Court and you can watch every single dig and dive, serve and spike on our live stream and don’t forget to check out a super informative A1 Beach App (available in Austria only).
