House Rules

By entering the site detailed below, the visitor abides by the following

 

SITE REGULATIONS

 

Which are available online at at.beachmajorseries.com

of the respective land owner, land manager and the event organizer of the A1 Major Vienna presented by Swatch

 

Scope: Public spaces as well as event areas at the Danube Island between stream kilometer 1932 (parking lot Floridsdorf bridge) and kilometer 1930 (Brigittenau bridge)

 

CHECKS BY THE SECURITY SERVICE

 

Any person who wishes to enter the Danube Island within the scope of this House and Place Rules agrees that they will be subject to a possible inspection by the organizer's security services. In this case, the instructions of the security services must be complied with without restriction, otherwise access is denied.

The security service is authorized to investigate whether or not visitors pose a safety risk due to alcohol, drug use, or carry of weapons or dangerous objects. Furthermore, the security service is entitled to inspect persons for objects which are unduly aroused by noise. The visitor agrees that his garments and accompanying containers are also thoroughly searched.

The security service is entitled to refuse access to the premises to persons who constitute a safety risk. This also applies to persons who refuse to consent to the search of their clothing and containers.

The security service is also entitled to remove those items which are not in accordance with the above paragraph (drugs, weapons, improper noise, etc.).

In individual cases, the security service is also entitled to perform this type of check for people who are already on site. If there are breaches against these site regulations, the event organizer is entitled to expel those breaching the regulations from the site.

Children under 14 years old are only allowed to enter the event area accompanied by an adult, conformable to the Viennese youth law.

In case of a breach against the site regulations, the security service is entitled to check the identification of the concerned persons. 

 

PROHIBITED OBJECTS

Any type of firearms, food or beverages, cans, glass bottles, drugs and other harmful substances are forbidden and should not be brought into the venue; as are the use of weapons of any kind and objects that could be used as weapons, xenophobic, national socialist, sexist or political propaganda material, as well as any commercial (political, religious or religious) objects and materials. Among the forbidden items are banners, electronic tablets (iPad etc), photographic equipment, sticks, poles, bicycles, scooters, rollerblades.

Flags and home-made signs they must be no bigger than A2 size and the material should used should be soft and not thick. Sticks or poles used for the flags can only be plastic or similar flexible material and not be made from dense material such as wood or metal - such objects will be confiscated by security. Musical instruments or similar objects that emit loud levels of noise are not permitted.

Beverages on the grandstand are only allowed in returnable cups of the organizer. Beverages may only be taken to the stands only in the organizer's cups or open containers with a maximum volume of 0.5 l. Screw caps must be removed.

It is also prohibited to omit undue noise, which is a health hazard for other visitors. The organizer defines objects which can produce noise of at least 80 decibels (db) as unsafe.

In case of doubt, the classification of objects is forbidden or permitted within the meaning of this house and place order to the responsible person responsible for the security service.

Persons who carry prohibited objects in the sense of this house and place order are denied access to the premises. If persons with prohibited objects are found on the premises, the security service is entitled to collect the items without replacement.

Animals are not permitted, with the exception of blind dogs and assistance dogs. Blind dog and assistance dogs must wear a harness.

Sticks or other assistants may only be carried by indigent persons as an indispensable support. Wheelchairs are only to be used by authorized persons.

It is permitted to bring children's toys to the venue. The stadium cannot be entered with baby buggies. They must be handed over to the designated storage area for storage.

 

BEHAVIOUR DURING EMERGENCIES 

In case of an emergency (fire, accident, suspicious items or persons, fights, etc.) the security service or the Special Forces will be informed immediately.

BEHAVIOUR DURING A METEOROLOGICAL DISTURBANCE (STORM; HAIL; THUNDERSTORM)

 

We explicitly point out that in case of meteorological disturbance every visitor has to ensure his/hers own safety. It has to be considered particularly dangerous near trees, water and technical objects. That is why it is really important to follow the instructions from the security service, announcements and LED-screens from the organizer. 

 

BEHAVIOUR DURING EVACUTION 

In case of an evacuation, it is essential to keep calm and follow the instructions of the organizer, the security service, the Special Forces, announcements and the instructions visible on the big LED-screens. 

If sections of the event area are endangered to be too crowded, the possibility of barriers and restricted access remains. Because of governmental restrictions, the possibility of restricted access in the stadium and the side courts tribunes remains. If the whole event area is endangered to be overcrowded the possibility of barriers in front of the main entrances and exits of the island remain.

ALCOHOL

THE CONSUMATION OF ALCOHOL IS FORBIDDEN FOR VISITORS UNDER THE AGE OF 16.

PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 ARE PROHIBITED FROM PURCHASING AND/OR CONSUMING ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES CONTAINING DISTILLED ALCOHOL. BRINGING ALCOHOL INTO THE EVENT AREA IS FORBIDDEN FOR EVERY VISITOR.

According to § 11 Wr JSCHG 2002 i.d.g.F. , Persons up to the age of 16 are forbidden to purchase and / or consume alcoholic beverages in public places and / or at public events.

 

Persons under the age of 18 are prohibited from purchasing and / or consuming alcoholic beverages containing distilled alcohol in public places and / or at public events.

In this context, the organizer expressly reserves the right to check on the spot by employees and authorities. Possible infringement is indicated, alcoholic drinks are taken off. Any alcoholic beverages brought on the event area is forbidden. Any of these items will be confiscated without the right to ask for replacement. In this context, the visitor accepts appropriate checks from staff members of the event as well as from the security detail. 

The abuse of alcohol consumption on the event area is forbidden. The organizer has the right to suspend people endangering themselves or others from the event area.

 

SMOKING BAN

 

In all tents, on the tribunes and seats of the stadium and at all side courts smoking is forbidden.

 

DRIVING BAN

 

Driving is forbidden on the whole area for every vehicle. 

Driving on the area is only allowed with permission of the organizer at a maximum speed of 20km/h. 

 

LIGHTING

 

Under normal circumstances, the area will be lightened with the beginning of darkness 2 hours after end of program.

 

LEGAL CONSEQUENCES

VIOLATIONS AGAINST HOUSE RULES OR ANY OTHER LEGAL VIOLATIONS

 

Any violation of the house rules can have a suspension of the area as a consequence. Any culpable behavior will be reported. That is why the security service is allowed to record personal information from visitors acting illegally.  

It is pointed out that an infringement of the duties of action and omission laid down in this House Rules pursuant to § 35 Abs 1 Wr VeranstaltungsstättenG, 1999 i.d.g.F. In conjunction with section 32 para. 3 of the Wr VeranstaltungsG, 2008 i.d.g.F. is punishable.

According to § 35 Abs 4 Wr VeranstaltungsstättenG, 1999 i.d.g.F, persons who are not subject to this approved and ordered house and place order may not be allowed on the premises.

 

PUBLIC COMPLIANCE - AUTHORITY

 

ARRANGEMENT FOR EXECUTIVE; FIRE DEPARTMENT; SECURITY CERTIFICATE, CITY OF VIENNA, PRINCIPAL REPRESENTATIVES, VISITORS AND ORGANIZERS

Any regulation of the executives, the fire fighters, the security service, staff of Vienna City, the owner of the area, Grundverwalter, and the organizer are to be followed. In case of defiance, the concerned can be suspended from the area.

Any person entering the area has to behave appropriately so that other persons remain unharassed and unharmed. Furthermore you have the behave appropriate to be able to use the facilities on the event site.

 

 

APPROVAL

 

APPROVING acc. § 35 Abs 2 Wr. VeranstaltungsstättenG, 1999 i.d.g.F.

The house rules are approved from the organizer and the owner of the property and the magistrate 36. 

 

TERMS OF USE 

 

ACCOUNTABILITY

 

Entering the area on own risk 

 

Entering the site is at your own risk. Parents are responsible for their children. At events, the risk of damage to the hearing may be due to noise. Free hearing protectors are available at the information offices of the event organizer. The organizer accepts no liability for any damages.

It is expressly pointed out that the event site is a lot of natural terrain. Therefore it is to be ensured on the entire site that there may be bumps, slopes and partial areas with different lighting conditions. It is also pointed out that due to the directly adjoining water surfaces, particularly in the waterfront, extreme caution is required. The use is in any case at your own risk.

In case of a cancellation of the event, postponement, changes in the program or occupancy, no expenses (eg arrival, hotel) will be replaced. Accidents and damage must be reported without delay to the organizer, the security service or the forces of the emergency services.

 

RECOVERY RIGHTS

Any person entering the site agrees that, by means of direct or delayed video display, direct or delayed transmission or any other transmission or recording, photographs or other current and/or future media technologies can be used free of charge. 

Anyone who enters the premises recognizes that they may make sound and / or image recordings only for private use. In any case, it is strictly forbidden to broadcast or transmit any audio and / or visual material over the Internet, radio, television or other current and / or future media, or to assist other persons in carrying out such activities. Exceptions are representatives of the press and electronic media who have accreditation by the organizer.

In the case of TV broadcasts and other recordings, the visitor agrees with the broadcasting TV station that the recordings made by him during or in connection with the event may be evaluated without compensation without any temporal or spatial restriction by means of any technical procedure.

The State Police Directorate Vienna informs that pictures and sound recordings are being prepared for the prevention and defense of dangerous attacks against the life, health or property of humans. (Legal basis § 54 para. 5 SPG).

The organizer points out that a video recording system is used for the entire event area as well as for the accesses and exits of the island to better coordinate the visitor flows. Any person entering the site agrees to this measure.

 

PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITY

The distribution and the keeping of printing sites, advertising material and/or disposable products are prohibited without the written permission of the organizer and MA45. In the event of an infringement, the MA45 is entitled to charge cleaning costs of at least € 1.800,00, a usage fee of € 2,400,00 and, in any case, the costs of legal intervention against the person responsible on the spot as well as against the advertiser. Any claims beyond this shall remain unaffected.
