Austrian stars Clemens Doppler and Alex Horst are planning on brightening up the A1 Major Klagenfurt by wearing luminous pink shorts at some point during the tournament this week!

The Olympic-bound duo, who won silver at the Poreč Major, are one of the favorites for this year’s Klagenfurt gold and have previously treated the capacity crowds to some garish yellow shorts in the past.

“It started two or three years ago when we had the idea of wearing neon yellow shorts and people seemed to like them,” Alex explained to us. “We said now’s perhaps the time to try something even more spectacular so, when we were in the Nike shop in Hamburg we saw these pink ones. We thought Klagenfurt would be a good place to show people, so we’ll see how they’ll react.

“We’re not sure if and when we’ll wear them – it could be the first and last time…we’ll see!”

Their pink look will also be complete with either blue or white jerseys following a Facebook poll we ran on Monday night.

We can’t wait to see you on the Center Court in those shorts boys. We’re off to get a new pair of sunglasses!
